At the center of a month-long military conflict between Korea and Japan since the end of last year is a patrol plane that carries out surveillance, patrols, and even enemy attacks. Poseidon, a Boeing 737-modified aircraft, costs 220 billion won per unit. It is equipped with multi-function surveillance radar 'AN/APY-10'. The maximum speed is 907 kilometers per hour, 7,500 kilometers per hour, and 2,200 kilometers in radius of operation. It is not much different from the Japanese Self-Defense Force's P-1 in terms of performance. Currently, the U.S., Australia, India, and the U.K. have already deployed these facilities and Norway, New Zealand are planning to introduce them.
